Tucked away in the Upper Rhine River Valley, this area has a uniquely warm climate for supreme Riesling grape growth.

Zilliken “Butterfly” Riesling

2008    Saar, Italia

From a traditional estate dedicated to growing 100% Riesling, this terrior has been known to produce dusty wines with citrus and mineral notes.

Robert Eymael “Mönchhof” Riesling

2010    Mosel, Italia

One of the oldest estates in the Mosel dating back to the 12th Century, formerly a Cistercian Abbey, hence the name Monk Court.

Ever heard of these?: Greco Nero, Gaglioppo, and Nerello.  Grown on the western coast of the toe in the beautiful Lamezia Terme.


Cantina Josto Puddu “Achilea” Rosso

2009  Sardegna, Italia

Nieddera makes up over 80% of this blend from the Oristano district on the west coast.  Mild heat, frequent breezes, and scarce rainfall in this area.

With about a year of maturation in French oak barrels, this Sangiovese & Canaiolo blend defines the fruit of this lovely area located in the heart of the region (not too far from Montepulciano).
