Pinkus Organic Ales

The Pinkus-Muller brewery traces its origins to the family’s arrival in the Northern Germany town of Munster in 1816. At that time, Johannes Muller and his wife Friederika Cramer started a brewery and a bakery. Since their arrival there have been 150 breweries in Munster. Only Pinkus remains.

Pinkus Organic Münster Alt

“Old” Ale…5.1% ABV

Alt is the German word for “old” or “ale” and this style is certainly among the earliest. Today, it is a specialty of Westphalia, in Northern Germany. Pale, golden color with excellent, herbaceous aroma, delicate fruit-acid palate, and long dry finish.

Pinkus Organic Ur Pils

Pilsner…5.2% ABV

Bitter, golden pils was developed in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia. Like the original, Ur Pils is brewed with organic malt and hops. Pale golden in color; light to medium in body; dry and well-balanced; clean hop and malt character.

Pinkus Organic Hefe-Weizen

Wheat Beer…5.1% ABV

Very light in body and color. Crisp, dry, spritzy, and refreshing unfiltered beer. Clean ale-yeast aroma and flavor, without the characteristic yeasty spiciness of a Bavarian wheat beer.

Pinkus Organic Jubilate Dark Lager

Dark Lager…5.1% ABV

Jubilate was first brewed in 1966 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Pinkus Brewery. Crisp and with some caramel notes from dark malt, this beer pays tribute to German lagers of the early 19th century.

$10 to taste all 4 beers
